The Underground Collective Playlist 7/23/17

July 24, 2017

It has been a tough several days since the news of the suicide of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington. As a tribute to his life and art, we started the show off with a double shot from Linkin Park's new album 'One More Light'. It was an album with music that Chester was extremely proud of and just felt like the proper way to start the show off. Once we got rolling, we also got some other great songs on. we had a new one from Teenage Bottlerocket off their new covers album with a cover of "Why The Big Pause" from The Punchlines. We also got to a new one from Bleachers called "I Miss Those Days". And we debuted a song from the super group Armstrongs which is comprised of Tim Armstrong of RancidBillie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Tim Armstrong's nephew Rey Armstrong and Billie Joe Armstrong's son Joey Armstrong of the band SWMRS. You can listen to their song "If There Was Ever A Time" below.
