The Paramore singer is promoting her new album

March 5, 2020

Hayley Williams will follow the release of her first solo album with her first headlining tour.

The Paramore singer will unveil Petals For Armor on May 8th before beginning a run of shows in Europe on May 13th. The North American leg of the trek begins May 28th in Seattle and extends through June 28th in Nashville.

“Intimate shows. Been craving the closeness a long time,” Williams wrote on social media. “These are only the first 2 runs. I plan on squeezing a lot of life into AND out of Petals For Armor. Thanks for being passionate with me.”

British musician and poet Arlo Parks will open the North American shows. Tickets go on sale to the public on March 13th and you can get more information right here.

Williams has said there will be more Paramore in the future, but for now she’s focusing on expanding her comfort zone with a deeply personal batch of new songs.

“This is a brand new adventure,” she said in a statement. “It’s important to embark on something new every now and then just to show yourself that you can. I welcome the discomfort and the joy and I’m ready to be present for this.”
